Perfect Words

I have been thinking a lot of the events of 2008. There were so many things that happened that year. There was Good and Bad, Joy and Sorrow, Anger and Hurt, Healing and Peace, Tears and more Tears, and LOTS OF LOVE! I guess the list could go on and on. But there is a day that year that will always hold many of those feelings for me, a day that I will never forget, a day that will always be remembered as the day I lost my brown-eyed girl. So today, I am touched by this song...

I love this song & its a perfect song.... Elisa, I am so sorry for your loss... No one can understand your pain... I think of you and Carissa often and I know one day when you get to see her, that will be such a happy time in your life. I love you. Keep your head up.

P.s. It's as if this song was written for you and the little blue princess.

I came across your blog from Kambers blog. I also lost our little boy in 2008. I love this song as well. It is one I listen to often. The words speak to my broken heart. I love the quote for you blog...perfect. I have to remind myself that daily. Faith in God, includes faith in his timing. Thank you for sharing your amazing testimony.

I am always thinking of you and Carissa and wishing there was more I could do to support you. I know it is so painful - and it doesn't get easier just because it's been a year. Hang in there. You're in my prayers. Melissa

I felt the same way about that song! It took me forever to find it however. It speaks perfectly to a mother/father's broken heart doesn't it. Oh how I wish sometimes that we could go back in time...then I remember, that all of this is in the Lords hands. He is mindful of us...our pain, frustrations, fears, joy, etc. He knew better than any of us the pain that we share/experience. I am sorry for the pain...I think of you often...especially when I think of my little man. If you ever need a shoulder to cry on, just give me a call. We can cry together! We still need to do lunch!!!
